Foo, born Stefan Gordy Jr, told Herald Sun Confidential: “My tactics are no tactics. But really I have tactics. I’m going to play subliminal mind tricks on the judges. I’m going to send out voodoo on the judges when they speak.”
He claimed fellow judges Ronan Keating, Dannii Minogue and Natalie Bassingthwaighte use diversionary tactics.
Minogue’s singer Dami Im won Seven’s ratings hit X Factor last year. Taylor Henderson, coached by Keating, was runner up.
Foo said: “The other judges are playing games. They do things to throw you off your game. But I’ve been doing a lot of training for that, walking a lot of tightrope. My balance is on point.
“I’ve been watching the past episodes on one foot like a flamingo to not get emotional and focus. That’s my game. It’s an anti-game.”
But Foo, who had no singers in the final last year, vowed to be competitive.
He added: “As nice as I can be, as tough as I have to be.”
X Factor is travelling around the country this month to hold auditions.
The new season will return soon.
