Gwen was totally gushing over her new co-worker, giving him the credit for being a genius where credit was due. When he accepted his award, he gave a sweet shout-out to his wife, Helen Lasichanh, and to their young son,Rocket Williams. An excerpt of his speech, which he devoted mainly to his fans:“I never dreamed in a million, million, million years that, as a producer, I’d be standing here as an artist.” [...] “All I did was write the songs, and you guys did all the heavy lifting, all the hard work, all those billions of views on TouTube, all that calling in… thank you guys for lifting me so high! Thank you guys so, so much.”
What a mature, sincere, and genuine performer!
