Seattle police has released a note, written on hotel stationary by the late Kurt Cobain, and it's not particularly kind to wife Courtney Love . Unless, of course, it's part of a playful set of mock wedding vows written by Kurt and Courtney together.
The note was found in the wallet of the Nirvana frontman after he killed himself 20 years ago. It reads "Do you Kurt Cobain take Courtney Michelle Love to be your lawful shredded wife even when she's a bitch with zits and siphoning all yr money for doping and whoring..."Those words, of course, are in stark contrast to what he wrote about Courtney in his suicide note: "I have a goddess of a wife who sweats ambition and empathy and a daughter who reminds me too much of what i used to be, full of love and joy ..."
The note was released by police after a public information request by CBS
. The evidence release also included police reports and photos. The Seattle police department recently took a fresh look at Kurt Cobain's death, which remains a favourite conspiracy theory subject. According to CBS, "The SPD review confirmed the King County Medical Examiner's original determination that Cobain's death was a suicide, concluding that he used a shotgun to shoot himself after taking what would have otherwise been a lethal dose of heroin."
So, far there has been no comment from Courtney, who released a new song on Tuesday. Coincidentally, the song contains the lyrics, "One: Break my neck on my WEDDING DAY Two: Here comes the bride, and she's covered in egg." WARNING: Swears.
